Death Battle: Edward Cullen vs DmC!Dante

Hoodie: *sighs* After a huge mess those two made, we had to take over.

Sakuya: It was a bad idea inviting Nero.

Sakuya: atleast we got the research done, let's end this nonsensical talk once and for all.

Hoodie: It's time for a death battle!!

Edward was wondering on how did he get here? "Where is everyone?" he indistinctly asked himself and wondered for a short while until.. "HEY YOU!!" the vampire turned back and saw a young teenage man in black coat and pants. "Who the hell are you?" He asked. All Edward can do is stare at him. After an awkward silence, "Okay, you're creeping me out a bit, Who the fuck are you?" Dante asked again, "None of your business Dante." Edward replied thoroughly. Donte tilted his head, wondering how did he know his name. The conclusion finally came into his head. "You're a demon aren't you?" Dante said as he pointed his finger at Edward, "What are you talking about?" the vampire asked. "Then how the hell do you know my name?" Donte threatened as he puts an arm behind his coat. Edward realizes his mistake, "Dante look..." He was cut short when the reboot pulled out two handguns: Ebony and Ivory and begins to state the famous quote we all know and love

"FUCK YOU!!"

FIGHT!!

The Reboot rebel immediately opened fire on Edward but the vampire dodged the bullets with significant ease, as Edward drew closer, Donte pulled out his prized rebellion, "Time for a little rebellion." Donte closed the distance and lunges his sword, Edward knew what was coming and ducked in time. By DmC!Dante's surprise, he's no joke. Edward pulled out a punch on Donte's face knocking him off balance. DmC!Dante regained his footing in time to make 2 quick slashes and a overhead slam but as expected from our mind reading vampire, he dodged all of the attacks and jumped back. Donte's sword hit the ground and gave Edward a huge opening. The vampire sprinted towards Dante who sheathed his sword, in mid-sprint Edward noticed the sword slowly changed into an red burning ax. With a smug look on the punk's face he pulls out the huge ax and made a over-head slam but Edward stopped in time before the ax met it's mark. Both men stared at each other, in Dante's eyes, there were sparkles surrounding Edward and he gave Donte seducing look....

Hoodie: Are we really making these guys fight to the death? BECAUSE WHAT'S GOING ON RIGHT NOW, IS A F*****G YAOI!!

Sakuya: *pushes Hoodie off-screen* I'm sorry about his misbehavior, my associate will be dealt with shortly.

"Fuck you..." Edward's eyes widened as soon as Donte pulled out revenant, inches away from his face. Donte pulled trigger, giving Edward a face full of 666 gauge demon pellets. The blast was enough to knock Edward a few feet away from his opponent. The rebel emo smirked and puts his arbiter on his back, "YEAH!! you felt that one didn't you?!" Donte taunted. Edward stood up and glared with an angry look, Donte reached back for his Rebellion which morphed into a scythe. Edward readies his foot and ran towards Dante, with a smirk from the reboot's face, he spins Osiris, "Great.." Edward exclaimed, he knew he can't get close unless he finds an opening. Dino lands his boot to the ground stopping his spin and fires Kabloeey. With only a second to react Edward leaped above Donte, and landed on his feet beside him. With no concern whatsoever, Donte casually turns and flips off Edward. The confused vampire tilted his head and realized, the flare met it's mark on Edward's leg.

BOOM!!

The explosion sent Edward flying, in mid-air something snatched his back. A hook-like chain caught Edward's back. The reboot pulled Edward back to the ground and prepares his rebellion for a swing, but the vampire was prepared and parried the sword in mid-air, "What!?" Donte exclaimed, he never saw that one coming but not before Edward threw a punch to his face. Dante looked back at the vampire with a "really?" expression on his face and gave him a headbutt. Edward stumbled, just as Dante pulls out ebony and ivory. He sets his sights on the staggering Edward and opens fire. After a quick recovery, Edward avoided the line of fire by jumping on a nearby tree. Donte holstered his guns and pulled Arbiter out again, like a teenage emo lumberjack he yelled "Timber motherfucker."  the tree fell, like a toy soldier. Dante searched the fallen tree for Edward. "That was easy..." Donte casually said while rubbing his hands together.


He turned his head after hearing a slight rustle. Donte readied Ebony and Ivory, acknowledging his surroundings. "Come on ou-" Dante was cut short when a knee meets his stomach, causing him to drop his guns. Edward followed up with an uppercut that sent Dante flying up to the air before Edward could connect with a kick, he noticed a change in Teenage Reboot's arms: Eryx, "YEAH!!" DmC!Dante yelled in excitement as he slammed Eryx to the ground. Donte managed to stumble Edward towards a wall, taking the opportunity, Dante lunges his rebellion and hits Edward to the shoulder. Edward let out a loud scream as the sword thrusts deep into his left shoulder. "There's more where that came from!!" Dante jokingly said as he pulled Rebellion out from the vampire's shoulder and prepares another thrust.

BANG!!

bang! bang! bang!

The Vampire let out 4 shots from the pistol that he just took from Dante, who stumbled back a few feet and went down on one knee, "You asshole..." He said in anger. Edward inspects the fire-arm, "You've been using this thing for quite a while." Edward said as he aimed it again at Dante. "Give her back." Donte threatened, Edward took a shot in reply. The son of Sparda rolled out of the way and brought out Ophion, Dante slings his weapon at Edward's arm. The vampire tried to fight back, but Dante reeled him in, like a fish in a lake. Dante sarcastically thanked the vampire and snatches his stolen pistol. Surprisingly Edward recovered from the demon pull and tackles Dante. "Fuck you!" The demon said in anger as he stopped Edward on his tracks and like a pro wrestler he gave Edward a DDT. Both men stood up and glared at each other for a moment's notice, Edward adjusted his neck, while Donte spat a tiny bit of his blood on the ground, "Hey!" Dante broke the silence by flipping Edward off. "What the?" The vampire narrowed his eyes.

Suddenly Edward felt a sharp pain when two shurikens pierced through his stomach area. Dante smirked after his cheap tactic paid off  "Gotcha!" Dante brings out his rebellion, "Hell awaits you." Donte taunted as he lunges towards the vampire and connects with lightning fast stabs Edward let out a painful scream after each following stab, before the demon can land the final blow, Edward quickly side-steps and punches Dante to the gut. The staggering Dante backs off, "I gotta say, you aren't actually that bad." Dante complimented Edward who was taking deep breaths after a huge beat-down. A moment of silence as the two fighters stared for another brief moment. The vampire stopped panting and managed to utter two words, "Shut up.." Dante scoffed and was surprised by Edward's reply. The son of Sparda laughed for a quick moment and puts his sword on his back, a huge grin dawned upon his face as Dante prepares his last, "Oh yeah? well fuck you!!" If it's time for a Devil Trigger, it's now or never.

Edward's eyes widened as he saw Dante's sudden change in appearance, his hair was white, the black coat was now red as blood, the only thing that hasn't changed is the smug look on his face. Before Edward could react Dante was already onto him, Dante brings out two shurikens: Aquila and spun around like tornado on a trailer park. Edward cannot do anything but scream in pain as the blades tear through his body, after that Dante cancels his combo and switches to Eryx. Dante charged his punch and it packed a wallop that sent Edward flying backwards, in mid-air a chain grabbed Edward's leg, "GET OVER HERE!!" Dante yelled as he reeled the vampire back. Dante prepared his Rebellion for the final blow and just like that Edward's life flashes before his eyes, all the happy memories with his family and Bella, he wished this was all just a dream, he closed his eyes willing to accept his fate.

*weird silent

Edward opened his eyes and saw Dante leaning with a confused glare, "I can see by that weird expression on your face for the past 3 minutes that you were having a good time.." Dante walked a few feet away, allowing Edward to stand up, "Too bad I have to kill you." Edward gasped as the rebellion cuts his head clean through..

Edward head fell down along with his corpse, Dante inspects the carcass and like a professional soccer player, he kicks Edward's head like a ball and flips it off as it flies away. 

K.O.!!

Outro:
The decapitated head landed on a stack of pizza boxes, a man in a red coat inspects the head on his food and made smirked as he grabs two pistols from his desk, "I'm gonna get that little punk."


Sakuya: and just like that, it's over..

Hoodie: yeah yeah, can you call these knives off me please?

Sakuya: Fine. *drops the knives at the floor*

Hoodie: Okay, so Dante won..

Sakuya: Yes, Edward was doomed from the start of this fight, of course he had mind reading, but that barely helped him. Here is a clear explanation. Edward's mind reading can only be effective if he knew the person more.

Hoodie: Dante maybe a cocky bastard but`he was more than capable enough to beat Edward, even in a fucking fist-fight.

Sakuya: The winner is Dante.

Hoodie: Speaking of fist fights, are those two still going at it? *checks camera from outside* ouch......

Sakuya: We'll attend to those two in a moment, but give it up for Dante...
